Role Objectives:


As the Pricing and Proposals Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the sales of WEP service lines from initial discussions with potential customers, up to Project Management handoff. The Pricing & Proposals Specialist will coordinate and support the proposal (RFI, RFP, etc.) response while working with the proposal team to organize and prepare quality and client focused proposals and budgets. This role will also support the financial forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning processes.

What You'll Do:


  • Support the introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes. 
  • Assist with the drafting of quotes and RFI documents for clients.  
  • Anticipate needs, address challenges, and deliver complaint, professional proposals through the proposal development process.  
  • Evaluate proposal workflow, make recommendations for improvement, and support the lessons learned process.  
  • Support the development of Request for Pricing (RFP) estimates and updates to pricing grid based off changes to company cost structure. 
  • Conduct precise data entry in the ERP system to facilitate accurate contract billing and forecasting.   
  • Develop proposal budgets by collaborating with various operational departments to coordinate assumptions and pricing. 
  • Prepare P&L analytics related to RFPs, ROFRs, OTBs, and internally generated price changes.  
  • Evaluate RFP results, prepare Win/Loss analyses, and manage WEP content library and master RFP/vendor question list.  
  • Act as the point of contact for customer and vendor inquiries related to pricing.   
  • Examine contract terms, monitor changes, and ensure ongoing compliance with contractual obligations. 
  • Support Business Development in securing new business opportunities.  



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree (in a Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, and Finance field preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in proposal development and pricing strategies, ideally within a CRO setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint
