Your Role: The Account Executive is a true sales hunter, primarily responsible for growing market share with clients within a defined territory or vertical market segment. Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new client opportunities with a clearly defined territory sales strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth. Navigate complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders. Maintain CRM system with accurate prospect and pipeline information.
  • Prospecting: Establishes and cultivates relationships (key personnel and decision makers) to drive sales and increase our client base. Utilizes self-generated and marketing-qualified contacts to call prospects to generate sales opportunities. Exceed monthly sales target goals. Sustain monthly calls and demo goals as expectations dictate.
  • Presentations: Develop and present compelling product demonstrations. Build robust business cases through needs analysis, comparison to similar agencies, and demonstrating return on investment (ROI).
  • Negotiations: Effectively manage complex sales processes and contract negotiations with an understanding of the specific needs of public safety entities. Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills are required to secure new business opportunities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Understand competition and effectively position solutions to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition. Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, marketing, or sales) is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Law Enforcement officer's experience is required.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated track record of outbound full-cycle B2B sales is required. Experience selling to law enforcement and/or public/government sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing consultative sales efforts with a long sales cycle model is preferred. Solid understanding of relevant technology sales solutions that encompass a blend of hardware and software, large-scale implementations, subscription revenue models, etc.
  • Ability to manage a sales territory, coordinating with various internal teams (sales management, finance, and legal).
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ability to understand current issues, trends, legal decisions, and legislation in the public safety sector.
  • Highly organized and target-driven, with a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
  • Proactive self-starter, taking ownership and demonstrating accountability in all endeavors. Must be able to operate independently and perform under pressure against tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in sales management software to track sales activities and performance. Experience with Hubspot preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other supporting tools and enablement software.
  • Travel via automobile or airline requirements: 60-80% travel.
