Business Placement Specialist, Commercial Lines

We are seeking an experienced Placement Specialist who can utilize their coverage expertise for the selection, rating, and issuance of new and renewal business. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our commercial lines clients receive not only the best coverage and pricing available but also exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.

What You Will Do:

• Rate new and renewal business, adhering to underwriting guidelines
• Prepare and submit applications to carriers
• Review applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance
• Compare quotes to negotiate premiums, terms, and coverage differences with carriers
• Conduct risk management analysis to ensure agency guidelines are met
• Prepare premium notes and vital documents required by different carriers
• Create and review proposal packages
• Respond to inquiries from carriers, producers, and insured parties until marketing is finalized

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Property & Casualty license required
• Commercial lines marketing experience, with proven success in business placement
• Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
