Sales Executive/Manager (m/f/d) - Global Advertising Team

We are looking for a talented and motivated Sales Executive/Manager to join the Global Advertising team based in New York City with at least 3-4 years of agency, AdTech or publisher experience.  

You will work closely with our Global Advertising Sales team in Berlin to drive revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with international agency hubs and US-based clients. This position will play a critical role in shaping our advertising strategies and ensuring the financial success of our publications.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the top advertising (media) agencies and their trading desks, major global brands with international media operations, and their key decision makers.  
• Work with internal sales and marketing teams at portfolio brands to develop compelling advertising proposals.
• Coordinate and execute inspiring client presentations and sales meetings  
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both client and publisher
• Analyze and provide regular sales reports and performance updates to the VP of Sales  
• Proactively identify new business opportunities by conducting market research and analysing industry trends  
• International travel to Germany and other markets as appropriate

• Have a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or a related field  
• Have an advertising background with experience at a media agency, AdTech or publisher side and knowledge of programmatic fundamentals
• Be familiar with basic advertising strategies, media planning and market research   
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate the benefits and value of advertising products and services to potential clients  
• Ideally have existing client and agency contacts in New York's international media industry  
• Speak fluent English (German is a strong plus)  
• Be proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools, and have knowledge of or interest in digital advertising platforms
