Injala is looking for Product Management interns for market disrupting technology in the insurance industry.

You will join a team that is reinventing how risk management and insurance activities are performed. You will be responsible for maintaining successful relationships with clientele as well as taking part in developing advanced technology that will help push the industry to the next generation.

Qualifications:

This internship is right for you if:

- You have great written and verbal communication, and social skills.

- Currently enrolled (with graduation no later than Summer 2024), or a recent graduate in a technology related field with a reputable University.

- Not looking to be a developer or coder, however, want to harness the knowledge and skills to help build disruptive products.

- Looking for an opportunity to convert into a full-time employee.

- Have had previous internships or work experience dealing with customers.

- You love tackling complex problems.

- You thrive in the pace of change.

- You are a curious individual who loves diving deep into a wide range of challenges and opportunities.

- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to digest complex information and present findings in a clear manner.

- Strong listening skills, ability to understand the “why” and get to what matters quickly.

- Desire to learn -this role requires a high level of intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to dive into new problems, domains, tools, and techniques.

- NOT an international student on a work permit, co-op permit, or student visa.

- Knowledge or experience in Insurance or Construction Administration is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Items below highlight a broad array of responsibilities interns are given the opportunity to get hands on experience with. However, depending on your skillset and given role, you will individually have a few (not all) of the responsibilities.

- In this role, you will be reporting directly to a Senior Product Manager.

- You will eventually be given a few sets of responsibilities in this role to test your ability to deliver results.

- You will have the opportunity to write and create video content for system walkthroughs and knowledge base.

- You will be part of conversations, and eventually you will be given the opportunity to lead meetings with prospects, to show how Injala’s technology can be leveraged to reduce risk, while providing economic value to their business.

- You will have the opportunity to be part of conversations with prospects, to gain a deep understanding of their current administrative workflows and helping create a plan for implementation of the technology, and ultimately helping successfully execute the plan.

- You will be required to conduct research on industry trends, competition, and advancement in technology, which might be used in product development strategy sessions.

- You will have the opportunity to communicate with engineers to help translate client feedback.

- You will have the opportunity to interact with the marketing team, take a role in upcoming product launches, and learn what it takes to ‘go-to-market’ with a new product.

Employee Type: Internship, minimum 20 hours a week.

Location: Dallas, TX / Hybrid schedule

Experience: Currently enrolled (with graduation no later than Summer 2024), or a recent graduate in a technology related field with a reputable University.

Salary Range: $20-$30 an hour

Benefits: Internship does not include health benefits. However, if you are converted into a full-time employee, you are offered competitive pay, paid holidays and medical benefits.
