Graphic Designer – Chicago, IL
$75,000-$85,000/Annually - Plus Bonus

We are an American cosmetics brand that specializes in skin, hair, and body care products. Our company started as a single apothecary in the early 1900’s and has since turned into a skincare staple across the nation. We are distinguished from other competitors for our marketing approach, exceptionally large male and female clientele bases, and our products' simple and straightforward packaging.

We pride ourselves on our teamwork and are seeking a Graphic Designer who shares our collaborative, upbeat characteristics. A flexible and creative thinker, who can successfully manage their workload and contribute to the marketing department by demonstrating leadership and a strong work ethic will be our candidate of choice.

This position has a variety of responsibilities including designing our packaging, displays, logos, marketing materials, editing videos, custom logo manipulation for our customers, and much more. For our chosen candidate we offer full benefits and room for advancement within.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and design brand-consistent advertising and promotion collateral; examples include print, brochures, online media, electronic media, social media, direct mail, and motion graphics
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Regularly handle all video editing to best represent the product line to clients
  • Manipulate vector art for custom logo printing
  • Create visually enticing animation, videos, and interactive AR elements that effectively communicate the brands message to the consumer
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image and brand standards throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
  • Implement a strategy for representing our brand to promote products and analyze the success of specific campaigns
  • Assist in social media outreach through dynamic, consistent, and interesting messages and activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years in a Graphic Design role – Required
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Acrobat – Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Layout and typography skills
  • Time management and communication skill
