POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Manages the daily financial center operations
• Ensures that all associates are providing efficient quality customer service in the financial center
• Assist the manager with the development of staff, motivational initiatives, counseling, and the completion of performance evaluations
• Advises and ensures staff are following procedures that affect the financial center
• Monitors cash items, CD settlements, and CTR processing
• Oversees closing of overdrawn accounts
• Makes decisions on the daily exception report
• Coordinates and conducts appropriate staff meetings
• Ensures the financial center meets high appearance standards at all times
• In conjunction with the manager, oversee adherence to the Bank’s security and BSA compliance polices
• Performs data analysis, prepares and present reports and recommendations to management
• Works closely with other lines of business within the Bank
• Monitors and enforce compliance policy and company practices
• Establishes and promotes strong, positive, productive and effective working relationships with business lines within the Bank
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, and expectations
• Monitors and assists with the enforcement of compliance of policies, procedures, guidelines, and bank’s practices
• Exceeds all established positions’ goals, objectives, and expectations
• Supports the Bank’s vision, core values, business principles, goals, and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum two years of assistant branch manager experience in a retail banking environment
• Bachelors; degree in management, accounting, business administration, finance, economics or related field
• Understanding of retail banking policies and procedures
• Hands on knowledge of consumer, commercial, and mortgage loan processes, products, and services
• Good understanding of general banking laws, regulations, and procedures
• Proven knowledge of loan, security, and cash control policies
• The selected candidate will have excellent analytical and problem resolution and negotiation skills
• Candidate must be ambitious with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, results focused, and detailed-oriented with excellent time management and planning skills
• Proven record of successful goal attainment and project development
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills with ability to lead by example
• Ability to comprehend and follow directions and instructions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet)
• Ability to maintain a proactive approach to assignments and multi-task oriented
• Demonstrate analytical and strong problem solving skills
• Service oriented with excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette
• Excellent sound decision making, reasoning ability, and judgment skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• A competitive winning spirit that understands the team concept
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good organizational, presentation, listening, and interpersonal relationship building skills
