Marketing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

• Oversee the SCA Marketing and Customer outreach activities. Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products. Manage and coordinate involvement for trade shows, special events and other activities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee advertising campaigns, coordination of ad development, placement, and web links.

• Manage Struktol company website and keep all information updated. Monitor Google analytics tracking, traffic, views.
• Manage company LinkedIn page and post company information related to trade shows, sponsorships, new products, and monitor comments and questions.

• Manage on-line show rooms, product guides, search engines and keep listings/product information current.
• Manage all trade show activities such as booth site reservation, special events and preshow mailings,
• Travel for trade shows with the potential for international travel.
• Manage sales contact information – international sales representatives, distributors, trade product manufacturers, affiliates.
• Work with cross functional teams including Quality, Accounting, Customer Service, (and others as needed) to make sure documents are completely in a timely manner.

• Work directly with Customer Service team on sales activities and collaborate with the Sales Team.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Five years relevant work experience; including leading and managing trade shows and leading development of brand strategy and communication.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Ability to manage and determine priorities, details and tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytic skills with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with posting, engaging on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Develops, curates, and deploys compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales.
• Prepares and launches social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns.
• Collects and analyzes online statistics to identify marketplace trends and best practices to optimize online marketing performance.
• Experience with graphic design, video production and/or photography for social media.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and influence all levels of the organization.
