Title: Executive Director

TEEG is a 501 (c)3 community service agency located in North Grosvenordale, Connecticut.  We have provided services to individuals and families in northeast Connecticut since 1988. 

Reports to:  TEEG Board of Directors

The candidate should also convey a passion for social equity.  This is a unique opportunity to work with an exceptional staff and an army of dedicated volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Human Services field
• Five or more years senior management experience (preferably nonprofit)
• Solid, hands-on budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting
• Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation
• Ability to convey a vision of TEEG’s strategic future to staff, board, volunteers, and donors
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff
• Skills to collaborate with and motivate board members and other volunteers
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups
• Strong public speaking skills
• Clean record with the state bureau of investigation, Department of Children and Families (DCF), Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The salary is competitive within the framework of the organization’s annual operating budget, and in the range of $60,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.  TEEG offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, Simple IRA match, and PTO.
