Reporting to the CMO, the Vice President, Product Marketing will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the overall product marketing strategy. In addition to a solid understanding of UCaaS, CCaaS and CX more broadly, a strong understanding of Nextiva's product suite, customer base and competitive differentiation is a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Product Marketing professional for a high-growth mid-market enterprise business who has helped create efficient, scalable, and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing Strategy, Messaging and Positioning: Develop and execute a differentiated product marketing strategy and messaging framework that will resonate with employees, customers, prospects, channel partners and analysts.
  • Roadmap: Using market data, customer insights and competitive intelligence, collaborate with product management to align on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Product Launch Excellence: Successfully plan and execute product launches, ensuring that products are brought to market effectively and efficiently. Producing marketing content such as blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and social media content to generate interest and educate the market about the product.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Research, document and enable the GTM teams on the competitive landscape. Be the evangelist for Nextiva's differentiation internally and externally. Conduct market research to inform product strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Content Creation: Guide content creation for product marketing materials, including sales plays, sales enablement tools, website content, demos and case studies etc.
  • Voice of the Customer: Oversee customer feedback loops to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Analyst Relations: Manage Nextiva's relationships with key industry analysts to ensure we are well positioned in core reports. Manage regular briefings, demos and inquiries.
  • Pricing and Packaging: Work closely with the strategy team and CEO to optimize pricing and packaging. Make recommendations on pricing models that will optimize revenue and profitability. Conduct thorough competitive pricing analysis.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Learning & Development to equip all the sales team (direct & channel) with the knowledge, training, and resources they need to effectively sell the Nextiva platform, including sales training, certification, sales plays, objection handling, competitive intelligence
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, providing direction, support, and fostering collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 15 + years of experience in marketing/product marketing and related marketing functions in the SaaS industry, with at least 5 years in CCaaS or CX
  • Experience in consumption-based pricing models
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users
  • Technical background and clear understanding of a product's life cycle
  • Ability to coordinate across many teams and perform in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated experience building credibility with and delivering results for product teams, sales teams, and customers/partners
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications
  • Track record of managing high-performing teams and of creating an environment where people can realize their full potential

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

The compensation offered by Nextiva to external candidates considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, etc. Our compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $320,000- $390,000, including annual income incentive compensation.
