What You'll Do

As an Acquisitions Account Executive I, focusing on small to mid-sized businesses, you will be working with business owners, scheduling managers, and operations professionals to help solve challenges surrounding labor management. You'll qualify their fit for When I Work's products and help them realize value through discovery conversations, product demos and testing periods. You'll develop a keen understanding of labor management across multiple industries and will display a strong problem solving ability to map When I Work's flexible solution to their specific needs. In this role you will:

  • Work with prospective customers with 21-200 shift-based workers
  • Take charge of growing new logo acquisition by connecting with small to mid-sized businesses via inbound leads; own the sales process from 0-100%
  • Responsible for 100% of quota retirement
  • Become a When I Work product expert providing demos and guided trial experiences to prospects
  • Engage prospects over the phone, via virtual meetings, email, and social media
  • Leverage Hubspot to manage a pipeline of deals and follow-up activity
  • Provide weekly bookings forecasts to leadership
  • Partner with our Customer Care, Existing Customer, and Customer Success teams to ensure a positive experience through the customer's smooth transition to training and onboarding
  • Work collaboratively with peer Account Executives in sharing best practices
  • Share feedback and insights with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams including Marketing and Product in pursuit of continual improvement

Experience and Skills Needed
  • 1+ years of quota carrying-experience in software or technology sales, SaaS implementation, mobile apps or cloud software
  • Functional knowledge of workforce management solutions, accounting software, human resources systems and payroll applications
  • Technology savvy and ability to quickly learn new things
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage meetings
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training required
