Overview


Cybersecurity is set to become a $10 trillion criminal enterprise by 2025, outpacing the illegal drug trade and we are looking for a full-time (exempt) B2B Account Executive looking to enrich their professional career. In this position, you will have the opportunity to impact one of the most important problems of our time with an elite team and firm.


As an Account Executive you will work with risk3sixty’s Revenue Team to drive net-new business and revenue results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business opportunities. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving high-quality sales through deal shaping, contract negotiation and closure of deals from both prospects (net-new) and expansion of existing clients (new/existing). This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by acquiring net new customers through both inbound and outbound sales activities
  • Manage and close opportunities through ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression through the sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Provide regular and upon request reporting of sales performance, SWOT, trends, and other data points to support risk3sixty’s growth goals
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the growth of risk3sixty

While this is an individual contributor role, effective performance of this role requires the ability to bring the risk3sixty team together to collaborate on budgets and win strategies, support resource and practice-level planning, hiring plans, and product development endeavors. The AE supports this mission by:

  • Effectively communicating internally – up, down and across the organization
  • Setting the delivery team up for success; pre-call planning, project budgets/profitability goals are achieved, securing timing commitments from practice leaders, and managing prospect/customer expectations
  • Anticipating sales risks, and working to manage those risks in a collaborative way that serves as a win-win-win; win for the business, win for the team tasked with delivering work, and win for the customer

Education and Experience

  • Proven track record of 5+ years of success selling B2B solutions into the mid-market and/or enterprise
  • Experience selling security and compliance products or services is preferred
  • Experience with formal sales training curriculums such as Force Management, Sandler, and sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, Challenger, Value Selling, etc., is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in building relationships with Director & VP level decision-makers
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to bring a team together around shared goals
