Sales Representative

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and promote the sale of laboratory equipment for our company. You will work closely with the sales team to provide sales support and modify laboratory equipment configurations to ensure that our products meet the unique needs of our customers. By conferring with laboratory managers, you will assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.

In addition to providing sales support, you will also be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations on our laboratory equipment and services to both existing and potential customers. This will include arranging for demonstrations or trial installations of laboratory equipment and responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and specific solutions related to laboratory equipment.

To stay up to date on industry news and trends, you will keep informed on legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, as well as the latest product-line developments. This will allow you to identify resale opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans.

Finally, you will document all account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers. You will also write technical documentation for our products, ensuring that our customers have the necessary information to use our equipment efficiently.

Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate who holds an associate in biology or biotechnology or bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Technology, or a foreign degree equivalent, and has at least 2 years of relevant experience in laboratory equipment sales or related fields.
