OVERVIEW:

At Cadence 3, we are in search of a highly capable and dynamic Content and Communications Manager to join our Marketing Consulting team to support one of our largest technology clients as a full-time employee. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to craft compelling marketing content, manage communications efficiently, and maintain a focus on technical accuracy and marketing effectiveness. This role demands a unique mix of research skills, creative flair, technical understanding, and strategic insight to effectively convey our brand's story and product information.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with our corporate goals and boost brand visibility.
  • Oversee external communication channels, including social media, corporate websites, and media relations, ensuring uniformity in messaging and engaging content.
  • Produce and revise high-quality content for various platforms such as scripts, newsletters, press releases, and executive communications, maintaining continuity and oversight.
  • Rapidly generate content, leveraging research on current trends, product innovations, and technical specifics.
  • Clearly articulate technical details while conveying key marketing messages in an engaging manner.
  • Collect and utilize feedback from clients and multiple stakeholders to enhance and perfect communication materials.
  • Navigate complex project requirements with a high degree of ambiguity and initiative.
  • Work within tight deadlines to create content that is timely and of high quality, meeting project schedules.
  • Maintain stringent quality control and ensure timely delivery of all communication outputs, adhering to the highest standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft products and services.

  • Diverse Writing Experience: Skilled in topic-based writing across both horizontal markets (technology, software solutions, hardware, and devices) and vertical industries (manufacturing, retail, financial services, public sector, education).
  • Collaborative Development Skills: Proficient in collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams to develop and refine knowledgebase scripts and technical documentation.
  • Adaptive Content Creation: Exceptional ability to capture product or speaker voice, crafting authentic content that engages and resonates with the target audience.
  • Quality-Driven: Inherently inquisitive and committed to producing high-quality product marketing content that aligns with business objectives.
  • Project Management Capability: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data from multiple sources, identify key insights, and incorporate them into content strategies.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficient with advanced digital tools and platforms necessary for modern content creation and distribution, including content management systems and social media platforms.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-6 years of related work experience in tech marketing, journalism, communications, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation and communications management, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of the technology industry and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Role requires in-office and onsite client meetings that our clients prefer, with necessitates being local to Seattle area.
  • Exceptionally strong US-based candidates with a proven track record of being able to deliver while working remote may be considered.
  • Flexible, yet demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Requires the ability to sit at a standard computer desk, type on a standard computer keyboard, and operate a standard computer mouse for long periods at a time.
  • Professional attire (business casual) required.
