The Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns to help promote our editorial websites and related marketing services business as well as our virtual and live events, ranging from workshops to full-scale conferences and tradeshows.

This position can be remote or work in our Washington DC office location.

About the Department:

Fierce offers a full suite of news, analysis and event education all in one place. The Fierce Life Sciences Events & Healthcare Events team organizes the industry’s leading conferences (live and virtual) in pharma, biotech, and healthcare sectors. Our event portfolio includes Digital Pharma East, the leading event for pharma marketing professional, as well as the Fierce Biotech Summit, Fierce Health Payer Summit, Fierce Clinical Summit, and many more throughout the year.

As our Associate Marketing Manager, you’ll support Questex’s success by:

  • Help drive attendee goals and revenues for in person/virtual events and awards programs, working to support senior members and leadership of the marketing team
  • Help support sales team and their sponsorship revenue efforts by providing collateral and other tools
  • Support the senior marketing team members with execution of overarching marketing tasks as part of overall marketing campaigns
  • Maintain event websites; work independently and in collaboration with operations, sales and leadership teams
  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns via digital marketing, email, website, social media, public relations, delegate sales and advertising.
  • Data analysis of marketing campaigns for strategic growth of events, including benchmarking for attendees and revenues.
  • Communicating with production, audience development/database, operations and other internal teams regarding deadlines, attendee revenue updates and other pertinent information.
  • Work with internal design team to ensure all marketing communications, websites and more are in alignment with brand positioning.
  • Travels and support events onsite as required

Your Experience and Education Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience. B2B media, ad agency, events, or media experience preferred
  • Attention to detail; diligent, proactive, organized, accountable, analytical, highly motivated team player, with strong project management skills
  • Quick learner of new technologies, tools, and processes with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth work environment, while managing numerous projects under tight deadlines
  • Experience in HTML, Canva, Adobe Photoshop or InDesign preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Omeda or similar marketing technologies or email service provider a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
