HR Generalist (CONTRACT)

You are dedicated and experienced HR Generalist who provides support on the day-to-day operations of the department to include policy and procedure, DE&I development, employee relations, workers compensation benefits, language assessment, safety and health

This position pays: $32-37/hr
Location: Concord, CA (on-site)

What you will be doing:

Manage day-to-day HR department needs, including responding to inquiries, employee correspondence, and staff emails.
Process Change of Status (COS) requests on behalf of the HR department.
Utilize HRIS systems to generate and analyze reports on ADP Workforce.
Provide leadership in implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Coordinate with external vendors for annual surveys, labor law posters, and DE&I sessions.
Conduct annual EEO-1 data reporting and necessary audits for compliance.
Oversee the Snappy.com program and requests, ensuring timely reconciliation.
Collaborate with the Sr. Benefits Administrator on workers' compensation, safety, and illness prevention programs.
Investigate accidents, prepare necessary reports, and serve as a liaison with insurance carriers.

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in HR generalist roles.
Experience with HRIS systems, ADP Workforce preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
COVID-19 Vaccination: All candidates must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and at least one booster shot in accordance with company policy and public health guidelines.
