Technical Specialist - 53458

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Technical Specialist, to work in Franklin lakes, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive experience in JDE EnterpriseOne Sales & Distribution module to provide technical support and address user issues.
• Provide techno-functional support for system issues, ensuring smooth operation of the Sales & Distribution module.
• Provide support for interfaces to other systems such as MFG PRO, Demand Solutions, Positive pay, Labelling solutions, Oracle APS, etc.
• Ensure seamless integration and data exchange between JDE EnterpriseOne and external systems.
• Perform application testing for all system changes and projects to ensure quality and functionality.
• Provide second-level support for resolution of service requests and system defects.
• Review and approve root cause analysis, workarounds, and support documentation prepared by support analysts.
• Own support tickets pertaining to specific modules and ensure their resolution till closure.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide support-related guidance and expertise to team members.
• Interact with business users throughout the lifecycle of support calls, from initiation to closure.
• Regularly interact with JDE development and CNC Admin support teams to resolve issues collaboratively.
• Provide on-call support after business hours for high severity issues, ensuring continuous system availability.
• Utilize experience in working on JDE projects with onsite-offshore model for application development and support.
• Monitor occurrences of new software releases, support packs, and kernel upgrades, and assess their impact on the application and users.
• Perform troubleshooting at the ERP and database level to address technical issues.
• Administer ERP in the production environment and manage database optimization, backup, and recovery processes.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in JDE EnterpriseOne Sales & Distribution module.
• Techno-functional skills for providing support and addressing system issues.
• Knowledge of interface support for integrating JDE EnterpriseOne with external systems.
• Proficiency in application testing, issue resolution, and support documentation.
• Collaboration skills for knowledge transfer and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to provide on-call support and experience in project-based work.
• Understanding of ERP and database administration, including troubleshooting and optimization.
