Position Overview

As a Digital PR Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our website's visibility and authority by securing high-quality backlinks from news outlets, blogs, and other relevant platforms. Your primary focus will be on conducting outreach to journalists and website administrators, encouraging them to reference and link to our in-depth articles and resources. This role requires a blend of communication, research, and strategic planning skills, as well as an understanding of SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a digital PR strategy that aligns with our SEO goals and brand messaging.

• Identify and research target publications, websites, and journalists that align with our content themes and audience.

• Craft personalized outreach emails to journalists, bloggers, and website admins, proposing collaborations or content features that include links to our website.

• Build and maintain relationships with online media contacts and influencers within our industry.

• Monitor and analyze backlink profiles using SEO tools to evaluate the effectiveness of digital PR efforts.

• Collaborate with the content team to identify or create articles and resources that are likely to attract backlinks.

• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and updates, especially those related to SEO and digital PR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

• Proven experience in digital PR, SEO, or content marketing, with a track record of successful digital PR campaigns.

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how backlinks impact search engine rankings.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages.

• Skilled in research and networking, with a knack for identifying potential link-building opportunities.

• Experience with SEO and PR tools (e.g., Ahrefs, BuzzStream, MuckRack, HARO) is a plus.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
