Job Description:

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be the driving force behind our recruitment efforts, ensuring that we identify and engage with exceptional individuals who are aligned with our values and vision. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the Diocese's mission, goals, and values to assist in advancing the Catholic faith in North Texas.
  • Collaborating with department heads, schools, and parishes to understand their priorities and identify staffing needed for their ministries to flourish.
  • Utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques, including networking, online job boards, social media, and community outreach, to attract diverse candidates capable of advancing the mission of the local Church.
  • Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates to identify the best fit for each role in the respective ministries of the Diocese of Fort Worth.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Developing and maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
  • Monitoring and analyzing recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of our strategies designed to advance the mission of the Church and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staying current on best practices, trends, and legal requirements in talent acquisition.
  • Dedicate yourself to the service of our faith community through the compassionate and empathetic support of our employees.
  • Uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church and embody its principles.
  • Recognize the inherent dignity of every individual and strive to create a workplace environment that fosters respect, dignity, and mutual understanding
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a talent acquisition specialist or recruiter, preferably in a nonprofit or religious organization.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Fort Worth.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • This role primarily operates in a professional office environment.
  • The position may require frequent travel within the Diocese of Fort Worth for meetings, events, or candidate interviews.
  • The ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds may be required.
