CTA Construction Managers LLC is an award-winning, ENR top 100 Green Contractor based in Waltham, MA. We specialize in large scale, complex, state of the art, LEED certified buildings throughout Massachusetts. We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal Project Manager candidate should be looking to lead a project team in a fast paced and collaborative work environment. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project success including:

  • Proactively resolving issues as they arise and/or pulling in appropriate parties to make effective resolution decisions
  • Maintaining effective lines of communication with project site team and senior management at all times.
  • Subcontractor and supplier buyout, procurement, and management
  • Construction controls processing including contracts and change orders
  • Monthly owner and subcontractor AIA requisitions
  • Project schedule production and maintenance
  • Responsible for all project budgets, costs, P/L, etc.
  • Maintaining client relations with architects, owners, subcontractors, etc.
  • Providing overall project leadership amongst all stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills:

  • 2+ years in a Project Management role, in the construction field
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience with related industry software such as Procore
  • Exceptional communication skills: Focuses on proactively solving conflict, gathers necessary information in a timely manner before making a decision, remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency: proactively solving problems and addressing conflicts.
  • Ability to read and understand all construction documents
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale to achieve group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

  • Self-motivated - Undertakes self-development activities to improve knowledge.
  • Strong working knowledge of Procore and Primavera P6.
  • Previous experience as a project manager on public works projects a huge plus.

Requirements:

  • A BS degree in applicable field of study (i.e. civil engineering or construction management preferred)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of previous Construction Project Management Experience at the $10M+ project size range required for Project Management position.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
