As Project Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Manage production issues and implement migration plans
  • Track and manage changes in requirements and deliverables
  • Oversee hardware flow, manage continuous improvement projects, cost model, and any other production-related activities
  • Develop plans to deliver engine subsystem configurations in support of test activities.
  • Coordinate configuration changes with upstream and downstream stakeholders
  • Assess programmatic impact of configuration change requests.
  • Create and manage line of balance for hardware and key equipment to support upcoming builds.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering and contribute to development of detailed procedures.
  • Respond to unexpected changes to ensure integration activities stay on schedule, on budget, and are completed with high-quality and documented build pedigree.
  • Coordinate with procurement, internal and external manufacturing to ensure that hardware priorities are well understood and are actively managed to support the need dates.
  • Identify schedule-critical hardware, equipment, people, and facilities; resolve constraints.
  • Develop recovery strategies when non-conformances or other escapes are identified.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop schedule and budget; manage and report progress.
  • Develop and report key project metrics.
  • Lead Pre-ship reviews, ensuring hardware and software/firmware readiness prior to shipment.
  • Support hardware procurement efforts and vendor visits to support upcoming builds.

Qualifications;

  • B.S./B.A. degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • Experience scheduling and tracking (small and large tasks)
  • Be comfortable interacting across manufacturing, production, procurement, and other interdisciplinary departments.
  • Run line of balance, provide status of components, drive progress/direction, escalate issues as necessary.
  • Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills.
  • A strong knack for troubleshooting and quick thinking to keep the project moving forward.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks that range from development and production as delegated by the IPT Lead and Project Team Lead.
  • Turbo experience is preferred, but not required

Onsite Requirements: Hybrid on-site in Kent, WA. The candidate will need to be on-site consistently, so the candidate will need to be local.

Contract Length: 6 months with extension based on performance. This position offers salary and benefits for the duration of the contract engagement.

Salary Range: $80K-$140K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
