Use your digital journalism skills to help our software start-up make the world a better place.

About Rumzer: Our mission is to help manufacturers to easily and cost effectively comply with global environmental regulations such as EU RoHS, REACH, California Prop 65 and more. We do this using the best software technology. You will help the Rumzer manage all aspects of our accounting.

This is a fully remote, part-time (10 - 20 hours/week) internship position. You need to have excellent verbal and written English.

Your job responsibilities would be...

Written content/script development (English) - Product environmental compliance is a complex topic. It involves many disciplines - including chemistry, international regulations, and politics. Your job will be to research and develop engaging content/scripts that educates and informs current and prospective customers.

This requires studying existing international movements (e.g. circular economy initiatives in government) to regulate the use of hazardous substances in products and more. The focus will be on understanding the legal ramifications of these movements on Rumzer's customers.

Your content will need to be engaging and relevant to our current and prospective customers.

This means you'll need to spend time studying the subject matter, interviewing team members, and ideally talking with businesses in your community impacted by global product environmental regulations.

Then, you'll need to develop content/scripts that for the next step...

Make your script come to life - Get it done. Take the content/script you developed (and approved by management) and make the video to be published on our website and other online platforms as directed.

Ensure content is consistent with our brand and strategic direction

Analyzing campaign/content performances

Using insights from past campaigns/content to optimize new ones

Engage with online audiences as requested

Working with external collaborators to bring the business and marketing goals to life

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Digital Journalism or related discipline

Excellent written and verbal English

Able and willing to take directions and learn

Self starter
