Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for individual account sales, received from clients responding to promotional materials and phone inquiries
Core Individual Contributor Competencies:
Informs and educates clients on select HZN products and services
Ensures clients are informed of relevant legislative and regulatory issues and their associated impact
Facilitates the enrollment process for new individual sales.
Ensures applications are complete and filed timely and meet all regulatory requirements
Represents the company in professional and courteous manner at all times
Completes internal management reports as required
Participates in ongoing sales training to enhance skills and to keep abreast of changes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Prefer a Bachelor degree in a related field.
Requires a minimum of 1 years telephone sales experience or service experience preferably in a health insurance environment .
Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:
- Current/ Valid Health Insurance License
Knowledge:
Requires knowledge of Horizon BCBSNJs and its subsidiaries products and services.
Requires knowledge of competitors and comparable products and services.
Requires knowledge of sales techniques.
Requires knowledge of PCs and applicable software
