Job Description – Rezolut Systems Administrator

Rezolut is a national emerging provider of diagnostic medical imaging services. With over 40 imaging centers, our vision is to provide topnotch patient care partnered with innovative technology — to achieve better health outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Systems/Network Administrator to assist in supporting our cloud-based and facility-based network infrastructure in multiple states.

Under the direction of the Director IT, the Systems Administrator needs to demonstrate experience maintaining secure network operations and communication in a variety of environments. As a diligent and detail-oriented self-starter, bringing current ‘best practices’ to the team, the team member will be responsible for managing an Azure environment, assisting in the design of efficient wide area networks, and managing all relevant documentation associated with access, protocols, interoperability, and compliance.

The selected candidate must be proficient in professional and technical communication techniques and making efficient and appropriate professional judgement as necessary to protect and enhance the corporate environments.

This is a hybrid role and the ideal candidate will be located in New York state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, VPNs, routers, and other physical/virtual systems.
• Monitoring network security perimeter throughout the organization to ensure safety and compliance with Healthcare Network Security standards,
• Gathering configuration information from entities required to create VPN connections with Rezolut (referring physicians, billing companies etc.),
• Implementing and monitoring data transfer statuses to improve network performance for computer systems and interoperations with associated entities,
• Administrating user access to VPN connections into the Rezolut environment,
• Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues,
• Managing a Microsoft Azure environment, the associated virtual machines, design requirements, and protocols,
• Configuring and managing Active Directory embedded in Microsoft Azure,
• Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected,
• Communicating networking issues to other employees and management efficiently,
• Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users as notified via corporate problem management systems or management direction,
• Providing technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting,
• Preparing and maintaining documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts for all facilities,
• Designing, deploying, and administrating the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems at all facilities,
• Recommending upgrades, new applications, and equipment,
• Training team members on new network hardware or software.

Skills:

• The Ideal candidate will possess technical skills with a variety of security devices such as:
  1. Ubiquiti, Palo Alto, Cisco and SonicWall firewalls
  2. Ubiquiti, Cisco and HP Aruba switches
  3. Ubiquiti wireless access points
  4. And other network related devices
• Cloud computing design and implementation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills to allow the identification of problems within the organization's networks.
• Critical thinking skills to facilitate the comparison of all possible options and determination of which will be most effective solutions to a problem,
• Listening and speaking skills for quality communication with team members and leadership,
• Reading comprehension skills
• Logical problem solving and issue resolution while considering end users’ needs.

Education & Certification:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an associated discipline from an accredited university (an associate degree with additional experience is required as a minimum)
• Certification from a recognized network software vendor such as Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar (e.g. CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCIA Enterprise Infrastructure)
• Certification in healthcare network security solutions will be a plus.

Experience:

In order to perform efficiently in this position, a candidate should have at least:

• Three to five years of experience in the area of network design and administration,
• Two to three years of management experience responsible for the perimeter security of a distributed network,
• One to two years of experience with healthcare compliance requirements for network security
• Two to three years of experience designing and supporting the Microsoft Azure environment,
• Two to three years creating and managing cloud-based devices (VM’s, resource groups etc.) in Microsoft’s Azure environment,
• Experience with HL7 data traffic will be a plus.
