Copywriter I

Flex Technology Group is seeking a talented Copywriter to work directly with the Director of Digital Marketing and Content Marketing Manager by producing written content that supports the overall content strategy and goals of the FTG marketing department. They will also support internal communications and social media for the company.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the content marketing strategy through the production of written content and by ensuring alignment with the company's overall marketing objectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of written content across various channels, as outlined by the monthly content calendar, or as assigned by leadership.
• Create, edit, proofread, and submit high-quality written content such as blogs, eBooks, case studies, whitepapers, copy for infographics, or related media across various platforms, ensuring it meets quality standards, reflects the brand voice, and is optimized for search engines and user experience.
• Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines and increases organic traffic.
• Help in creating copy for select social media campaigns.
• Collaborate in the implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing products or services.
• Leverage AI to assist in the scaling of content produced.
• Other assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proactive and collaborative team player.
• Creative thinker and continuous learner.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• A skilled writer with a portfolio of work samples.
• Prompt with deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven 1 - 2 years’ experience in persuasive content marketing, preferably in a B2B or technology related field, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Knowledge of modern SEO practices.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, content distribution channels, and audience objectives.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Filming and video editing experience preferred, but not required.
