Job Purpose and Role

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a results-driven, creative, and collaborative leader with a strong background in B2B SaaS marketing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement Marketing Strategy:
    • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, target market, and industry trends.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to define marketing goals, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Brand Management and Positioning:
    • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing channels and materials.
    • Develop and maintain a strong brand positioning strategy that differentiates the company in the market.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention:
    • Develop lead generation and customer acquisition strategies to drive product adoption and increase customer lifetime value.
    • Implement customer retention programs to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce churn rates.
  • Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
    • Manage digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
    • Optimize online presence to attract and engage prospects, and convert them into customers.
  • Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to refine the marketing strategy.
  • Marketing Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to evaluate marketing performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
    • Generate presentations to communicate results and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Oversee and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Teams:
    • Work closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives and product launches.
    • Provide marketing support for product launches and updates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing roles, with significant experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Location: Goshen, NY

Hours: Available during standard US business hours (9am-5pm EST or 8:30am-4:30pm EST)

Benefits

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $105,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
