Lead Teacher

Atlas Immersion Academy is a multi-lingual, multicultural, and vibrant home for passionate Early Childhood Educators. Atlas Immersion Academy is looking for a patient and compassionate Assistant Preschool Teacher. This role will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage students' healthy physical, social, and emotional development, while also expanding children’s multi-lingual language abilities.

Our Lead Teachers would:

• Help to Implement the Atlas Curriculum (which we will train you on) with a specified age group.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences and prepare kids for their next level of education.
• Manage the routine and environment of the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all.
• Observe & Assess: observing and documenting the development of children and evaluating the achievement of developmental milestones
• Communicate: on an everyday basis with parents through an app, weekly emails on curriculum, and respectful in-person interactions to achieve success for the child.

We are most interested in talking to applicants that bring with them:

• 1-year experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred
• Candidates who have the desire to make a positive impact on children's lives
• A positive and patient demeanor
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Fluent in Spanish
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
