Location: Waukegan, IL – Local candidates only, required to be onsite
Period: 03/25/2024 to 12/19/2024
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $45-$50/hour (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
Contract Type: Temp to perm potential

Scope of Services:

The IT Program Manager leads IT projects, ensuring they stay within scope and are completed successfully. They work closely with business and IT management to set project goals, assess risks, and measure performance. They also manage resources, supervise project teams, and make strategic decisions that impact the organization.

Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

• Develop, execute and manage IT projects within the defined scope.
• Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated IT project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Work with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.
• Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division and cross divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
• Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
• Develop and execute a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed.
• Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive management.
• Make recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.
• Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities.
• Supervise, motivate and mentor cross-functional /cross divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and validation analysts.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Manage Projects at the division or cross-division level.
• Make strategic decisions that impact departments or Divisions/sites.
• Final decision authority for project level budget and activities.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 9 yrs. experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with
• A minimum of 6 years experience managing projects.
