Septic Pump CDL Driver (Florida)

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Septic Pump Driver to join our team in Florida. As a Septic Pump Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing septic systems, ensuring their proper functioning and compliance with Florida's regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a septic pump truck to service and pump out septic tanks throughout various locations in Florida.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Safely maneuver the pump truck and operate the equipment to pump out and remove accumulated waste and sludge from septic tanks.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and providing information regarding the service provided.
- Document and maintain accurate records of service calls, including pump-outs, inspections, and any repairs or issues identified during the process.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the septic pump truck, such as fueling, checking fluid levels, and conducting routine inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient coordination of services and effective customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement, in accordance with Florida's regulations.
- Clean driving record with a demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices.
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years driving experience.
- Familiarity with septic systems and understanding of their operation and maintenance procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting, in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and maintaining records.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Punctuality and reliability in adhering to schedules and fulfilling service obligations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine maintenance tasks on the septic pump truck.
- Knowledge of Florida's regulations governing septic systems and the proper handling of waste materials is preferred.
- Prior experience in operating a septic pump truck or similar equipment is advantageous.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Background check required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work various shifts per week
- Does require some nights and weekends.
