Job Description
We are hiring for a Machine Operator - Laser Weld/Tension Leveler on the 2-2-3 shift schedule for both day and night shift.
5:45am-6:00pm
5:45pm-6:00am
$1.50 for Schedule Premium
$1.00 for Shift Premium
COMPETENCIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work with others as a team
- Work experience desired
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for reading and completing paperwork accurately
- Responsible for labeling and weighing coils
- Knowledge of running the line, stitcher, rewind round needles, shear, bundle head and setting tension levels
- Operate control panel
- Responsible for all other duties assigned to Assistant
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
- Comply with the Company's quality management system requirements
- Follow good safety practices
- Assist with training
- May, on occasion, job rotate to other functions within department.
- Will need to be detailed to measurements and dimensions
- Will be responsible for all aspects of quality per print
- Willingness to cross train
- Advocate for continuous improvement projects
