Job Description

DELTA |v| Forensic Engineering is searching for a dynamic professional to join our ranks as a Marketing/Events Coordinator based in our Charlotte, NC headquarters office. This role is hybrid and reports directly to and partners with the Marketing & Production Manager to help build an award-winning marketing organization responsible for growing a diverse brand.

General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide writing, editing, and production support to develop and maintain marketing materials.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining websites and social media platforms.
  • Conduct regular competitive intelligence and market research to enhance and support market development activities nationwide.
  • Manage marketing vendors and explore other entities for opportunities, as needed.
  • Owns, organizes, and maintains marketing-related work and files.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Highrise CRM with client, contact, and project information.
  • Stay abreast of marketing trends in the marketplace.
  • Coordinate, provide support, and occasionally travel for internal and external marketing events and conferences.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations, proposals, and qualifications packages, when needed.
  • Participation in relevant industry groups and associations to support professional development.
  • Other marketing- or business development-related activities, as necessary.


Requirements
  • Two to three (2-3) years minimum experience in professional services marketing or product marketing, or a role that involved support for marketing initiatives (i.e., event management, project management, etc.)
  • Superb writing, editing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Creativity, ambition, initiative, and ability to work in a startup marketing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines.
  • Ability to work with colleagues in various departments and job levels.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas and information.
  • Ability to assess situations and proactively provide suggestions or solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity and comfort in a Mac-based environment.
  • Dedication to getting the job done right.
  • Willingness to grow, both personally and professionally.
  • Occasional local and national travel for office visits, conferences, and events. (5-10%)


Desired Traits
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Event management experience.


Education/Certifications/Licenses
  • Four-year degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field is required. (Other combinations of education and experience will be considered!)
