This role is focused on the management, retainment, and growth of client engagements by strategizing and managing the continuous improvement of our digital marketing tactics. This includes organic search, paid search, email marketing, social media, brand awareness and website management; along with website optimization and management with the help of a production staff. The Account Manager helps their clients with a 360-view of their business goals and can introduce complementary digital services from our partners if needed.

The Account Manager is directly responsible for day-to-day communication with clients, long-term account strategy and results, and coordinating with our in-house production staff.

The perfect candidate:

  • has great communication skills
  • is organized and detail-oriented

All candidates must have experience in a digital marketing role and foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles (including search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising and paid social media advertising).

Candidates with minimal agency experience (including internships and bootcamps) are encouraged to apply as Junior Account Managers, who will learn the ropes under the supervision of a Senior Account Manager, and build a career path at FatCat.

Candidates who wish to be considered for Senior Account Manager positions (which include training and supervising Junior Account Managers, in addition to managing client accounts) must have 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or client-facing roles.

In this job, you will:
  • Be the primary point of contact for your accounts.
  • Manage client requests and answer questions.
  • Manage online lead generation campaigns from concept to execution. This means you will be responsible for developing new ideas for campaign messages, timing, and tactics for your clients.

  • Manage the completion of tasks by interfacing with our design, social media, SEO, and PPC staff.
  • Track results and KPIs from SEO, PPC, email, and social media efforts.
  • Schedule and lead client-facing meetings.
  • Manage deadlines and budgets.
  • Review client goals and drive the development of marketing strategy to maximize performance.
  • Effectively communicate marketing results and opportunities on a regular basis to your clients.
  • Manage expectations and maintain open lines of communication with clients to improve satisfaction and retention.

NOTE: depending on your experience and skillset, you may be considered for a Junior Account Manager position instead of Account Manager. We are excited to discuss the opportunities for career growth from this position.
