Summary of Position

The Business Support Specialist is an entry level role with growth potential and experience opportunity who will work in conjunction with the Circuit Delivery team at Acuative. The primary responsibility intern will be to learn to prepare, propose, and negotiate quotes for both new and existing clients. The individual in this role must be highly organized and willing to learn to interact directly with both internal and external stakeholders. They will be instructed on building quotes, assessing cost, and apply appropriate markups for various clients based on opportunity. The skills to be developed in this role include organizational experience, attention to detail, communicating in written, oral, and presentation styles. Use of technology and in-depth sales quoting.

Essential Functions

Will train on essential functions of the role. We are a person who can multi task, is organized, and has excel knowledge at a medium level. If you have 2 years of completed higher education (past GED/High School) and enjoy learning new things, this may be the role for you. We can train on the functions listed below which will be daily outputs:

  • Communicates with management on the status of tasks and workflows
  • Updates internal stakeholders on various circuit and wireless statuses such as data usage, inaccurate or erroneous billing, issues with cancellations, and ongoing carrier disputes
  • Drive carrier disconnects and disputes to timely completion
  • Verify carrier charges are being invoiced to Acuative appropriately
  • Submit and track all circuit disconnect requests and ensure that POs are closed out upon disconnect confirmation/completion
  • Review wireless data usage and submit data plan change requests to carriers based on current monthly usage
  • Provides administrative support throughout project progression in regards to circuit and wireless related projects with a focus on cancellations, moves/adds/changes, and disputes
  • Receive and input orders into Inside Edge, ensuring that PCS Tickets and PO’s are acquired to cover the requested work
