The Hun School of Princeton seeks a dynamic and creative Executive Assistant to Head of School and Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFO/COO). This full-time, twelve-month position requires providing comprehensive executive-level administrative support to a number of individuals, directly and indirectly, including the Head of School, CFO/COO, chair and members of the Board of Trustees, the School's Administrative Team, other administrators, and faculty. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Essential functions:

  • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that the Head of School's/CFO/COO's priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld;
  • Provide administrative and clerical office support, for Head of School, CFO/COO and Board of Trustees;
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management for the Head of School, CFO/COO, and Board of Trustees as well as content and flow of information to internal and external constituents;
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site;
  • Maintain a proactive approach to anticipating needs, in a variety of unanticipated ways;
  • Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or redesigned as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possesses the following qualifications:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field preferred;
  • Five or more years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly and supporting senior management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Commitment to sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, sensitivity, and discretion with confidential information, materials and situations;
  • Outstanding time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and adhere to deadlines;
  • Strong technical capacity and proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude and willingness for learning new software and systems;
  • High degree of flexibility, agility and adaptability to changes, unafraid of challenges;
  • Authentic, friendly, professional, and welcoming. Enjoys meeting new people and is comfortable around students, teachers, administrators, parents, etc. in a diverse and inclusive community;
  • Personal qualities including resilience, approachability, and kindness;
  • Capacity to occasionally work beyond and outside the typical workday, including evenings and weekends.
