  • Build engaging strategies that influence on how we communicate, including leveraging non-traditional channels and creative approaches to support employee engagement, change management, and culture building.
  • Apply standard methodologies, processes, tools and templates, ensuring the change is fully understood and its impacts fully gathered.
  • Apply communications expertise to ensure alignment with appropriate function, division, group, or corporate messaging.
  • Develop change communications which may include the production schedules, assigning tasks, coordinating delivery and ensures timely completion.
  • Support development and maintenance of communications functional materials including playbooks.
  • Own communication materials assigned in support of initiatives, including, but not limited to, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, leadership guides, manager materials/templates, FAQs, intranet articles, speaking points, organizational announcements, and videos.
  • Project manage various other employee communication functional initiatives as assigned.
  • Follow communications approval processes, as defined.

How will you get here?

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with significant experience in developing and executing communications/engagement to support change management programs, culture building, and capability building programs within a global, mid-large organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism or a related field desired. Change management certification a plus.
  • Sense of humor and flexibility is key.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to implement appropriate communications actions and provide support for a large, sophisticated global project.
  • Ability to consolidate complex content into cohesive, clear, straightforward messaging.
  • Ability to take ownership and independently drive progress in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders and a team in complex environments (e.g., ambiguous, fast-moving, multiple concurrent activities with short-term deadlines and changing priorities)
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing and editing skills, with solid knowledge of best practices in corporate communications.
  • Familiarity with employee satisfaction surveys and ability to use data to assess impact and effectiveness of change communications.
  • Strong MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills desired.
  • Strong project management skills desired, including familiarity with software platforms to manage review and approval processes.
  • This position may require up to 20% domestic and international travel.
