Web Developer & Digital Marketer

We are a Marketing & Advertising company seeking a local, experienced website developer/designer who can also develop and manage social media and AdWords campaigns for clients. The ideal candidate must be confident and proficient in designing and developing with WordPress, as well as performing maintenance on Joomla websites. They should also be comfortable and experienced in launching websites and managing hosting servers, C-Panel, CMS, HTML, PHP, CSS3, and Website SEO.

Job Description:

This employee will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function, according to a client's specifications. They will create well-branded, visually appealing design layouts that are user-friendly and built around site maps supporting user navigation to achieve the intended goals of the site. The objective of this hire will be customer-focused while efficiently working on website building and update projects. The ideal candidate should also have experience in digital marketing (Google Ads, Analytics, SEO), social media, graphic design, and hosting. This position will also involve activities supporting our clients' needs. The employee must have a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be capable of working in a deadline-driven environment. Additionally, this position will assist, support, and research new business opportunities and partnerships related to improving website service offerings to our clients and may also assist with other marketing and advertising-related tasks on the creative team.

Required Skills and Experience for the Position:

Web Development Related Skills:

• Experience in building high-quality, interactive websites using a variety of web-based technologies
• Significant experience in responsive website design utilizing WordPress CMS and/or Joomla
• Significant experience in designing WordPress websites using pre-built templates or Divi Themes as a starting point, then customizing them based on client’s needs.
• Ability to design or create custom CMS themes and Plug-Ins is a plus.
• Proficiency in working with common C-panel and databases
• Understanding how to set up and manage hosting and e-mail accounts for clients
• Familiarity with WordPress/Joomla administration and security
• Ability to research, implement, and find workable solutions for unique design or database challenges
• Experience in PHP, HTML, CSS3, WordPress CMS, Joomla CMS, and C-Panel
• Experience with Divi Theme templates (preferred)
• Managing clients' hosting services

• Basic Marketing and/or Advertising experience is preferred
• Experience with Internal CRM Systems and Project Tracking
• Strong organizational, writing, proofreading, and presentation skills
• Ability to identify, support, and implement clients’ needs
• Working knowledge of a “strategic planning process” for business development
• This position requires a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, a desire to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time (Average 30-35 hours)

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
