Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing is a nimble, hands-on, strategic thinker who will focus on several key areas, including brand management, demand generation, and day-to-day team leadership. This individual will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, optimizing departmental efficiency, and elevating myCOI’s overall market presence.


The ideal candidate has a proven track record that demonstrates the ability to build, scale, and measure marketing initiatives, including experience bringing new products to market. The role requires ongoing cross-departmental collaboration along with excellent communication skills. Essential Responsibilities:


Departmental Management & Optimization

  • Provide ongoing leadership to the marketing team, with an emphasis on sales alignment, prioritization, mentorship, and collaboration

  • Constantly improve our marketing infrastructure by standardizing and operationalizing initiatives

  • Play a pivotal role in team building and management, including both hired and contracted resources

  • Act as a cross-departmental quarterback and liaison, with a focus on ensuring ongoing visibility and alignment between the marketing and sales teams

Demand Generation

  • Own all demand-generation strategies, initiatives, and associated results, including both inbound/outbound programs

  • Work hand-in-hand with sales leadership to increase inbound lead volume, quality, and deal velocity

  • Work with key team members and contracted resources to optimize both online and offline campaigns, including SEO, digital ads, email marketing, webinars, events, etc.

  • Work hand-in-hand with key partners on co-marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness,demand generation, and revenue

  • Focus on ongoing measurement and standardization of demand-based initiatives.

  • Own the go-to-market plan for bringing new products to market

  • Co-own the company’s ABM strategy while balancing marketing tactics and campaigns across various segments

Brand Management

  • Drive all brand-based initiatives, including thought leadership and industry/partner co-marketing relations.

  • Amplify myCOI’s brand visibility by leveraging key partnerships

  • Constantly hone top-level messaging to ensure competitive differentiation in the market and consistency across content channels

  • Oversees all communications and content assets to ensure consistency of voice and message

Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and models to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

  • Communicate trends and scorecards internally and externally, providing comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly report-outs


Requirements::

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant marketing leadership experience with a proven track record of building teams, people, processes, and programs

  • Experience managing partner relationships

  • Experience with ABM strategies and tactics

  • Experience working at a B2B SaaS or rapidly growing company – ideally in tech

  • Both a broad and deep marketing skill set

  • Salesforce and/Hubspot experience

  • Familiarity with EOS, 6Sense are a plus

  • Analytical mindset with a proficiency in monitoring and reporting on relevant KPIs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both internal reporting and board-level presentations.

  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration between marketing and sales teams

Travel Responsibilities:

  • Some travel required for meetings or trade shows


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Location:

  • 100% Remote within Central or East Coast time zones within the United States.
