Senior Director of Global Finance

The opportunity

The Senior Director of Global Finance will spearhead all facets of financial services, ensuring strategic alignment with profitability and financial objectives. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in high-growth settings, adept at balancing strategic foresight with hands-on involvement. This position is required to be in Nashville, Tennessee at our Corporate Headquarters.

What you'll do

• Lead and oversee all strategic and tactical dimensions of finance, accounting, payroll, and reporting.
• Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing as an organizational leader in both strategic and tactical realms.
• Manage and guide the existing Finance team of 5+ professionals.
• Establish and uphold best practices for a growing finance operation.
• Track and enhance benchmarks for financial and operational performance.
• Drive the preparation of company-wide financial forecasts and reports for all product lines.
• Assess company financial results, consistently reporting on profits, losses, trends, expenditures, cash flow, and allocations.
• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets, empowering business leaders to adhere to those budgets and forecasts.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, providing necessary reporting.
• Monitor and audit the financial health of the organization, providing oversight and directional guidance on any business deals, transactions, and spending affecting the organization's financial well-being.
• Ensure a reliable system of internal controls is in place, and monitored to ensure funds and assets are used appropriately.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all required federal, state, local, organizational, and payroll laws and requirements, including but not limited to tax laws, GAAP, FAR, and CAS.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff.

Who you are

• Must be living in Nashville, Tennessee, or willing to relocate.
• Over 3 years of financial leadership experience in high-growth, sub-1,000-person companies.
• 2+ years of experience working in the SaaS and/or media industries
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent professional financial experience.
• Comfortable navigating high-level strategic initiatives while also engaging in hands-on collaboration.
• Strong supervisory and leadership experience with at least 3 or more direct reports.
• Demonstrated curiosity about business concepts, product performance, and market opportunities.
• Experience with raising capital, making acquisitions, and business integrations.
• Proficient in financial reporting, analysis, and financial models.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to multitask, reprioritize responsibilities promptly, and operate in a results-focused manner for you and your team.
• Capable of initiating projects with the ability to start and drive them forward, even in situations where all the details may not be readily available.
• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
