We are looking for a Associate Account Executive to join our organization and be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, managing sales cycles, and closing deals with enterprise clients focused on high-volume, low-dollar transactions.

The ideal candidate has a knack for persuasive communication and effective sales strategies. You will leverage these skills to engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions, ultimately driving revenue growth. You will be a part of a dynamic sales team that contributes significantly to gWorks' mission of empowering public leaders through our innovative software solutions.

Successful Associate Account Executive at gWorks have the following profile: they have a bias for action and initiative-taking; they are intelligent and curious; and they possess a blend of ambition and humility (what we call "humbitious"). An engagement style that is direct, goal-oriented, data-supported, and thoughtful is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Qualifying leads and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Presenting upgrade/upsell solutions to existing customers.
  • Closing sales deals and achieving monthly quotas.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Responding to client queries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to align sales strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of new product developments and industry trends.
  • Accurately logging sales activities and information in CRM software.
  • Providing feedback to the management team on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
  • Ability to work with 300 accounts, including making calls, building pipeline, demonstrating product solutions, and moving customers through established sales process.


Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in two or more of the following
    • Sales (commission sales or sales with set goals and/or bonus potential)
    • Customer service in a SaaS or enterprise software industry
    • Local government experience in a city clerk, utility billing, finance officer, or similar role
    • Participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional or varsity team
    • Leadership role (professional, on campus, community involvement or military experience)
    • Previous experience as a BDR or SDR
  • A track record showing effective application of a work ethic focused on balancing commitment, responsibility, authority, and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills working within large projects and mosaic organizations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
