We are one of the fastest growing and most exciting agencies working in pharmaceutical marketing today, and we’re looking to add a Senior Medical Editor to our team of experts.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides editorial leadership of AOR new product launch (HCP/Consumer [DTC] unbranded/branded)
- Creation & maintenance of brand(s) style guides
- Understanding of editorial and agency processes, including stages of a job and editorial responsibilities at each stage
- Collaborates closely with the brand's Copywriter and Medical Writer to ensure highest quality and accuracy of language
- Work with brand team members to ensure editorial integrity of all assets.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field (ie, English, Journalism, Biology, Life Sciences)
- 3+ years in healthcare marketing, preferable in a healthcare advertising agency
- Proficiency in AMA style, FDA rules and regulations, grammar and spelling rules
- Must have AOR launch experience in oncology, preferably with Subpart H/accelerated launch experience
- Understanding of typical print & digital (including social) marketing techniques used in promotional advertising
- Understanding of science, therapeutic category, and references for assigned brand(s)
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a cross-functional brand team

Salary Range: $90k-$120k
