Capri Communities is a family-owned, Wisconsin-based, senior living company. We are a fast-growing company with 19-current locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. SUMMARY: This position is for a graphic designer who will be responsible for creating internal marketing collateral focused on resident events as well as manage the creation of enjoy life programming content. Materials should be consistent with our brand guidelines and "enjoy life" mentality. This person will help be the voice of the Capri brand for our residents and their families. The right candidate will be asked to do a variety of jobs associated with the production and delivery of these marketing materials.

PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Internal Resident Requests: Develop marketing collateral for our resident focused events consisting of flyers, TV Slides, invitations and social media graphics.
  • Enjoy Life Programming Content: We have monthly themes that aid with event planning in our communities to engage our residents and staff. You will concept the 2023-2024 monthly themed materials and collaborate with the team to build out flyers, TV slides and social media content.
  • Graphic Design: Ability to create unique pieces that reflect corporate branding and "enjoy life" tagline. Design voice must be clear and consistent.
  • Management of Creative Process: Requires excellent organizational skills, coordinating and executing creative needs for internal resident needs. We have 19 individual communities, each with unique lifestyle programming events.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to brainstorm and generate ideas
  • Implement feedback and changes when appropriate
  • Ability to manage to deadlines and provide ample time for internal feedback
  • Multi-tasking skills and efficient productivity are key to success
  • Prepare artwork for print or web in proper formats (CMYK/RGB, bleeds, etc.)
  • Save files on internal server in multiple formats and locations.
  • Brand Management: Understands company and community branding to ensure that all marketing materials support the mission, brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Manage internal print requests such as marketing folder materials, flyers, invitations, etc
  • Communication: In addition to regular communication with Creative Marketing Specialist and other Marketing team members, this individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to assess and deliver creative requests in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or marketing with a minimum of one year experience performing a similar role.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, creative, project and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of visual design principles and software including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop from the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print process (initial concept, pre-press, final printing) and have ability to manage and organize in-house printing projects.
  • Requires strong organizational competence and the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Must expect and embrace frequent interruptions and flex to professionally respond to unexpected requests.
  • Must be self-directed with strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop innovative approaches to challenging requests
  • Team-player mentality that is energized by the creative process and working with a variety of constituents.
  • Photography and photo editing experienced is a plus but not required.
