In this role, you have the opportunity to:

You will curate a supportive, helpful, pleasant, and engaging experience for patients that have already been referred for vital sleeping well and breathing well health technology needs. The Inside Sales/Patient Communications Coordinator effectively communicates pertinent information about our solution and services and provides financial counseling and financial options to set timely appointments.


You are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Generate multiple outbound calls and answer inbound phone calls from prospective and existing customers to patients (100+ calls per day) to identify product/service solutions based on patient/physician needs.
  • Convert patient needs into a qualified lead and eventual revenue-generating business development opportunity.
  • Prompt customers with appropriate questions and actively notate their needs into call log format; Identify specific questions or issues as sale/penetration opportunities.
  • Document customer information accurately in recordkeeping systems in an accurate and consistent manner, while meeting company and Medicare/HIPAA requirements and guidelines.
  • Develop and exercise working knowledge of the product/service suite of offerings to accurately assess the customer needs of various prospects. Articulate the differentiating features of various products/services and facilitate the customer selection process based on specific needs.
  • In a self-manageable environment, place necessary outbound follow up calls to prospective customers or to current customers to review products/services.
  • Meet inside sales targets: quotas, attendance, and applicable performance criteria.
  • Maintain consistent and ongoing contact with team by coaching, training, and mentoring as needed.
  • Engage in management calls with patients to support team by understanding patient needs and offer solutions.
  • Provide excellent patient/customer service and manage professional follow up and patient engagement with a continuous care approach.
  • Coordinate with physicians and various referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Assist other outside business development team members with prospecting efforts.



Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Maintain a dependable attendance record and adhere to company standards.
  • Manage projects efficiently and communicate effectively.
  • Cooperate with co-workers, customers, and private, public, and government entities.
  • Cross-train and back up other necessary departments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Tech savvy and able to use various call center phone and video software.
  • Exhibit excitement by making outbound calls to change people's lives each day. Empathic, yet persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Self-motivated and self-directed. Eager to grow professional career by reaching and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to overcome objections by being quick-witted and providing immediate solutions to emphasize the importance of being well.
  • 1-2+ years with inside sales in a heavy call center and health care experience is preferred and a plus.
  • Diagnostics and or DME and call center experience are preferred and a plus.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are also vital.
  • Strategic thinking, accountability, and time management skills.

This is how your performance will be evaluated:

· Engage in 100 to 150 calls per day.

· Closure of 15 sleep tests scheduled per day.

· Adherence to patient initial contact rule within 24 hours from the inception of patient referral.

· Call script and talk track adherence with patient engagement. Quality control checks apply.

· Facilitate payment of services within the designated time frame after services are rendered.

· Minimize patient turnover by maintaining customer satisfaction through the 80/20 principle.

Working Conditions

This position is based in our downtown Houston, TX corporate office. Remote and or hybrid positions are available to highly qualified and experienced individuals. Most of the work is performed at the Corporate Houston office, or occasionally in a remote setting where there are minimal distractions. The majority of tasks, projects, and communication with patients, customers, peers, and supervisors will be completed in person when possible, and/or using a computer, video technology, and phone. While this role will require minimal physical exertion, long periods of sitting, standing, and typing may be required.

PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a full-time position (40 hours per week), extended hours and evenings are typical based on job demands.
