Job Description
The Marketing Manager will assist in overseeing all marketing and advertising directives for the company, as well as assist Leasing Department with on-site marketing, advertising, and leasing efforts. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities and Duties: (included but not limited to):
- Coordinates and facilitates Open House weekend for leasing
- Coordinates Marketing Flyer, Promotional Products, Community Branding and Print Advertising design
- Facilitates and directs model décor updates, and coordinates mini model installations
- Coordinates media updates with photographers and videographers
- Performs audits and corrections to all internet advertising
- Assists with Market Survey Data Collection
- Manages community website updates for design and SEO
- Performs daily Craigslist updates for Leasing Department
- Coordinates and manages social media marketing and advertisement
- Helps strategized and implement solutions for low-occupancy communities
- Reports weekly marketing goals for leasing and sends Casual Friday email
- Works with Director of Marketing utilizing revenue management software to assist in setting, tracking, and adjusting rental pricing information
- Coordinates resident event collateral and advertises to current residents & on property’s social media profiles
- Coordinates and facilitates the implementation of site updates and new software implementation
- Assists in community branding efforts: Marketing collateral, signage, online presence, etc.
- Strategize with Director of Marketing to minimize vacancy loss
- Assists Director of Marketing with other duties and requests as needed
Qualifications:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Extremely creative and inventive
- Must have the ability to make decisions that align with company vision
- Ability to compile, analyze and communicate data
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent people skills
Education and Experience:
- High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred
- 2 years minimum of Marketing related experience
- Experience using Yardi Property Management Software preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolong periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times
