About Rocky Mountain Prep

Rocky Mountain Prep is a growing network of innovative public charter schools serving students and families in the Greater Denver Area. Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) opened its first school in 2012 with 130 students and has grown to twelve schools, working with over 5,000 scholars in PreK through 12th grade across two districts. Grounded in our culture of rigor and love, our schools consistently outperform local districts academically while ensuring our scholars develop in our PEAK values of perseverance, excellence, adventure, and kindness.  

 

Who We Seek:

We're looking for an experienced and driven Executive Assistant to support our Chief Schools Officer. This role demands a seasoned professional who can manage the whirlwind of an executive's schedule, anticipate needs, handle highly confidential information, and act independently to manage projects and handle logistics. Trust, communication, high EQ, and a get-it-done attitude are absolutely essential.

 

Role Mission


This role will help to accelerate RMP’s progress towards our mission, amplifying and facilitating the success of the Chief of Schools and Principals, by focusing on impact, partnership, and excellence. 

 

 In this role,  you are…

  • Master of the Calendar: You'll own the executive's calendar, prioritizing appointments, juggling deadlines, and ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
  • Proactive Partner: You'll anticipate needs, troubleshoot problems, and proactively keep things moving forward – often without being asked!
  • Gatekeeper of Information: Handling sensitive information with discretion and flawless judgment is your forte.
  • Project Powerhouse: You'll oversee projects, keeping timelines on track, budgets under control, and everyone on task.
  • Relationship Builder: You'll foster strong bonds with other executives and staff, acting as a liaison and trusted communicator.
  • Event Coordinator: School functions, leadership retreats, professional development – you'll make the logistics flow seamlessly.
 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Executive Assistant Experience: Minimum of 5+ years supporting executives, ideally in the K-12 education world.
  • Multi-tasking Magician: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing like a pro, and always staying one step ahead.
  • Detail-Oriented Dynamo: Accuracy is your middle name, and you take pride in confidential, error-free work.
  • Communication Champion: Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills are a must, letting you interact easily with everyone.
  • Self-Starter with a Strategic Mind: You see problems as opportunities and love driving solutions independently.
  • Tech Savvy: You have your go-to tools and can easily adapt to new ones.
  • Spanish Skills are a Big Plus: Fluency or strong proficiency would be a huge asset.
  • DEI Commitment: You share our passion for creating an equitable and inclusive environment where all adults and students can thrive.

Preferred:

  • K-12 education experience a plus
  • Spanish language proficiency/fluency is strongly preferred in order to communicate effectively with our families and communities 
 

Salary 

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a salary range of $60,000-$90,000
