Job Overview:

We are seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to join the Cortavo team. This role will play a crucial role in driving our email marketing efforts, optimizing review sites, and handling administrative tasks related to customer success stories and public relations.

This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.

Email Marketing Responsibilities:

Plan customer acquisition and customer nurture email marketing campaigns that align with the Companys marketing objectives and target audience.
Set up and manage email automation workflows, including welcome series, nurture sequences, and triggered emails, to deliver timely and personalized messaging.
Create compelling assets including graphics, videos, and written content for email campaigns.
Write persuasive copy for email communications.
Manage marketable contacts database, including segmentation, hygiene, and growth strategies to increase engagement and deliverability.
Utilize tools like ZoomInfo to append email marketing lists with additional data points for better targeting and personalization.
Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance metrics to optimize email campaigns.
Ensure all email campaigns comply with relevant regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM) and best practices for permission-based marketing.
Prepare weekly roll-up reports summarizing key insights and campaign performance.

Administration Responsibilities:

Review tickets for success stories or potential challenges and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Schedule and coordinate customer testimonial calls for public relations purposes.
Draft initial press releases and liaise with marketing leadership for further refinement.
Draft award submissions and create content related to award wins.

Review Site Optimization Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize our presence on review sites to maintain positive brand perception.
Implement strategies to encourage positive reviews and address any negative feedback promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Minimum 2 years of email marketing and database management experience
Strong understanding of email marketing principles, best practices, and industry trends
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy; comfort level with AI tools to generate content is a plus
Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and customer segmentation strategies is a plus
Familiarity with tools like ZoomInfo for appending email lists and enhancing targeting capabilities is a plus
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Microsoft and Google Suite, as well as Slack

Estimated Usage of Time

80% - Email Marketing (~32 hours/week)
15% - Administration (~6 hours/week)
5% - Review Site Optimization (~2 hours/week)
