About Paradromics
We are building a direct data interface with the brain to provide technology solutions to unmet medical challenges. A revolutionary leap beyond today’s research-grade brain computer interfaces (BCI), our Connexus® Direct Data Interface (DDI) collects neural signals at an industry-leading high data-rate and is designed for long-term daily use. Our first clinical application will enable severely motor-impaired people to communicate and independently use a computer, translating their neural signals into synthesized speech, text, and cursor control. We will continue to expand the capabilities of our massively scalable platform to support a pipeline of future applications that could benefit millions.

The Role
The Senior Director of Marketing will lead and implement marketing initiatives and brand strategies that align with the company’s communication objectives. This includes developing marketing collateral and campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and managing internal and external resources to ensure successful execution. Representing the marketing function on cross-functional teams during all phases of product life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the assigned product, along with its market and applications, to create a cohesive brand message and product marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with and support Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, conduct marketing strategy sessions with Management.
  • Select the appropriate marketing tactics to pursue in support of the product marketing strategy, including developing marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts for assigned product(s) are aligned with the company’s overall communication strategy, including developing and editing content, guiding creative design, and resolving conflicting inputs during the review/approval process.
  • Craft compelling marketing collateral to promote the product and brand message to various stakeholders, including investors, healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and end-users.
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, slide decks, technical papers, web content, video, and animation; for outside creatives, oversee the development of design briefs and acceptability of final product.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and offer input related to future opportunities.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Serve as marketing representative on cross functional product teams.
  • Support industry conference and tradeshows to promote assigned product(s) and brand message.
  • Act as central contact for development of all marketing materials internal and external use.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department and manages marketing staff.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travel up to 25%
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing and/or medical device product management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent personal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing and managing online content and social media.
  • New product launch experience.
  • Experience at a start-up or other highly dynamic environment.
  • Tradeshow and event management experience.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in written form with a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to deal independently with many issues at one time and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to develop creative, effective, and compliant promotional media in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Google G-Suite.
  • Working in a regulated environment (Medical Device)
