Security Systems Technician

What you will be doing:

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced "Service Technician" to join their team. This is a full-time position, located in the Andover, Worcester, or Foxborough, Massachusetts area. Our client is currently seeking a Field Service Technician experienced in working with Access Control, CCTV, IP/network cameras, License Plate Recognition, and intercom systems. Technicians are expected to install, program, maintain, and replace systems of various types and models. They are expected to communicate and develop positive long-term relationships with customers. Our ideal candidate has:

• Systems Technician Class D License with 3+ years of field service experience.
• Functional and technical knowledge: Intrusion Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Networking & Computer skills, w/ Software installations.

• High School diploma/GED and Knowledge of: Certifications and or experience with the following is a plus: Lenel, Amag, Software House, American Dynamics, IP camera experience, SQL Database and Windows software configuration.

• Strong understanding of Genetec products and IP camera's
• Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude
• Documentation for tracking service-related issues, service request forms and reports.
• Knowledge and ability to safely use hand and power tools, analog/digital test equipment and CCTV testing devices.
• Capable of lifting 50lbs+ and work on ladder heights of up to 18'
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Available for scheduled "on-call" duties to respond to emergency service calls.
• Ability to travel.

Additional information:

• Between $25-$50/hour depending on experience and licensure
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
