Job Description
The Risk Analysis and Risk Management Engineer is responsible for the continuous development and advancement ofour Risk Analysis and Risk Management programs within the oil and gas industry. This role involves providing technical and engineering support, creating and enhancing processes, and ensuring a consistent approach to Risk Analysis and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:
-Develop detailed risk evaluation reports, communicating risk characteristics, overall risk condition, and mitigation measures.
-Apply engineering risk assessment principles for integrated safety, integrity, and reliability assessments.
-Analyze risk using qualitative and quantitative methods, identifying risk reduction opportunities.
-Have an in-depth understanding of project management and development lifecycle requirements for Pipeline Systems.
-Research field events, build predictive models, and analyze data using statistical tools.
-Evaluate technology and integrate internal and external data sources to improve efficiencies and establish meaningful KPIs.
-Contribute to continuous improvement in products and engineering processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
-Provide regular detailed reporting, presentations, and optimizations of risk management strategies.
-Conduct training on company Risk Analysis and Risk Management processes and procedures.
-Provide input to new construction and acquisition/divestiture due diligence efforts.
-Stay current with pipeline regulations, industry standards, and Risk assessment methods.
-Ensure technical documentation is created as appropriate.

Requirements:
-A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical, Management Information Systems, Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience (preferably in mathematics or statistics).
-A minimum of eight years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with demonstrated analytical capability. Experience in engineering risk assessment principles for safety, integrity, and reliability assessments is required.
-Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
-Working knowledge of Federal and State pipeline regulations, including Integrity Management regulations.
-Ability to analyze complex problems and develop integrated solutions to pipeline risks.
-Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
-Strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
-Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently or in a team environment.
-Experience in project completion and turnover, with an understanding of constraints impacting turnover to operations.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and advanced spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications knowledge.
-Understanding of CFR 49 §195 and 192.
-Responsible for supervising Risk/Integrity Specialists. Supervise external consulting, engineering, and systems development resources. May lead the work of others as needed.

Work Conditions:
-Office and field-based with up to 30% travel by land and air required.
-Work conditions may include petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver-based environment.
-The role may require lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and climbing up to 200 ft.
