Job Description
ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

We are looking for a Temporary full-time Customer Support Specialist to help support our growing business. This position will be responsible for distributing daily invoices and small parcel order handling for our retail and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) business as designated.

This is a full-time temporary position (Monday-Friday), and the working hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with a half-hour unpaid lunch. It will be based at our corporate campus, 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Responsibilities:
  • Transmit invoices to customers via email, fax and US mail as required and maintain invoicing list with appropriate changes.
  • Complete Invoicing in customer web portals as required.
  • Manage order processing for designated small parcel orders (homedepot.com, etc.)
  • Support colleagues during periods of absence, and provide support to the Customer Support Manager
    • Provide freight quotations.
    • Respond to inventory availability questions.
    • Track shipments.
    • Follow-up on issues related to EDI order processing.

Experience and Skills
  • Understand and demonstrate proper Customer Support protocol.
  • Strong business judgement and ability to make sound business decisions in service of the ARDEX Distributor
  • Order processing and invoicing experience required.
  • Ability to address and resolve problems and needed actions independently and quickly.
  • Ability to process high volumes of data while retaining 100% accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and SAP processes or other integrated accounting system is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of EDI, Outlook email, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • High emphasis on customer service
  • Positive, professional and solution driven attitude
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely fashion.

Education:
  • High school diploma with relevant work experience
