About the role:
Aerolase, a leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Health & Safety Eng resp for designing & maintaining in-house safety procedures & processes and measuring/monitoring environmental factors in order to ascertain compliance w/ health & safety regulations.

Duties:
•    Design and maintain in-house safety procedures and processes for manufacturing, repairing and operating company products (including, but not limited to medical lasers) aimed at prevention of employee injuries.
•    Inspect manufacturing, repair and storage facilities, safety equipment and products (including, but not limited to medical lasers) in order to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
•    Conduct and/or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, electromagnetic radiation levels and other relevant environmental factors in order to ascertain compliance with health and safety regulations.
•    Review specifications and design outputs for new products to make sure they meet end-user and patient safety requirements. Prepare and conduct quarterly safety workshops to ensure all employees fully understand safety procedures.
•    Select and procure safety equipment necessary to meet the workplace safety requirements. Maintain fire safety compliance of company facilities, stored materials and products (including, but not limited to medical lasers).

Requirements:
Bachelors in Fire Protection Engineering or foreign equiv + 2 yrs experience.
 

Salary:
$85,030.00.
